Chuck Greene is trapped in Fortune City during a zombie outbreak. He must keep his infected daughter supplied with medicine, clear his name, and make it through a 72-hour crisis.
Explore casinos, shops, and other parts of the city, fighting zombies with found objects, vehicles, and combo weapons made by joining everyday items. Timed cases and survivor rescues compete for your attention, while encounters with hostile survivors add boss fights.
Completing activities earns experience and unlocks benefits as Chuck levels up; combo cards help identify weapon recipes. The campaign can be played solo or online in two-player co-op, and a separate four-player mode pits contestants against zombies in televised competitions.
Players who praise the game often point to the inventive combo weapons and the freedom to turn everyday objects into ridiculous tools for fighting zombies. Reviews also enjoy the exaggerated humor, exploring Fortune City, and the extra mayhem of co-op; some appreciate Chuck’s story as a father trying to protect his daughter. These positive reactions are often qualified by complaints about the PC version’s controller support and other technical or co-op problems.
