In this alternate take on the Fortune City outbreak, players step into the role of photojournalist Frank West. He pursues a story amid a city overrun by zombies, with new missions and story changes built around his return. Explore Fortune City's shops, casinos, and other areas while fighting zombies with found objects and crafted combo weapons. Take on missions, rescue survivors, and battle deranged psychopaths as the outbreak's countdown pressures you to choose what to do and when. Frank's camera rewards photos of moments such as horror, drama, and brutality with Prestige Points. The game also adds the Uranus Zone sci-fi theme park and a timer-free Sandbox Mode with challenges; experience earned in Sandbox Mode can carry into the story.

As Frank West, investigate Fortune City's zombie outbreak by rescuing survivors, crafting improvised weapons, and photographing the chaos.
