A demonic invasion devastates the Union Aerospace Corporation’s research facility on Mars. You play a marine among the few survivors, fighting through the damaged base and into Hell to stop the threat.

Explore the facility, follow routes through its corridors, and battle demons and possessed personnel with an expanding arsenal. The story is also told through staff logs and other records found on the base. In the original version, using a flashlight means putting away your weapon; the BFG Edition attaches the light to your armor.

The collection includes the original DOOM 3 and Resurrection of Evil, plus remastered versions and the Lost Mission campaign. Resurrection of Evil adds new enemies, weapons, and abilities involving time and gravity; the collection also includes DOOM and DOOM II.

Players who enjoy DOOM 3 often single out its oppressive Mars-base atmosphere, creepy ambient sound, and tense horror-focused approach to shooter combat.
